Frequently Asked Questions

General information
Where is your farm located?
We are located at:
8084 Ch du Chicot N, Mirabel, Qc, J7N 2H5
What do you produce on the farm?
We produce a wide variety of certified organic field and greenhouse vegetables. As for fruit, we produce delicious organic watermelons and ground cherries.
We also have free-range laying hens that provide us with delicious fresh eggs and we produce fresh cut flowers.
Are your products certified organic?
All the vegetables and fruits grown on our farm are certified organic by Ecocert. However, our fresh eggs are not certified organic.
While we grow a wide variety of produce on our farm, we do not grow certain items like sweet corn, strawberries, apples, and mushrooms. We source these items directly from local farmers, prioritizing organic producders.
You can always find the producer's name and the item's organic certification status clearly indicated on the price tag, both in our online marketplace and in person.
CSA seasonal memberships
What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between you and a local farm. By subscribing in advance for a share of the harvest, you financially support the farm at the beginning of the season—a valuable boost before the first harvest.
In return, you receive fresh, local, and seasonal produce every week, while creating a direct connection with those who grow it. It's also a great way to better understand the realities of the profession, share the ups and downs of farming, and celebrate healthy, local, and vibrant food together.
What is the benefit of becoming a member of the CSA program?
- Enjoy priority access to our fresh and diverse products through our online ordering system.
- Enjoy complete flexibility over the contents of your basket
- Save with our exclusive member offers
- Support the farm by providing a source of financial stability at the start of the season
- Actively contribute to a more resilient, humane and environmentally friendly local agricultural system
How does the Tierra Viva CSA program work?
By becoming a CSA member, you purchase credits, via Tierra Viva gift cards, to use throughout the season, according to your pace and needs.
- Choose the amount of credit that best suits your budget and needs
- Use your credits at your own pace — no weekly obligations, you can skip a week without having to notify us
- You can always add credits to your account during the season
- Customize your own veggie basket by placing an order on our online market, open from Tuesday to Thursday
- Enjoy complete flexibility: select only the products you like or need
- No minimum or maximum order amount — order according to your appetite or your week
